English Ministry (EM)
Life Groups: Small groups meet bi-weekly at various locations throughout the South Bay area for Bible study, prayer and fellowship
Sunday School: a teaching ministry exploring topics such as: Christian life, Biblical studies, church history and apologetics (defense of the faith)
Friday Night Study: Weekly meeting on Friday evenings in the EM sanctuary and we're currently studying the Westminster Confession of Faith
Women of Wisdom (WOW): a ministry focused on the needs of sisters to grow in wisdom and love of Christ
Be a Man (BAM): a ministry geared toward men who strive toward godliness and a faith lived out through the Gospel
FoodBank Pantry: monthly ministry where free groceries (e.g. canned goods, dry foods and fresh produce) are distributed to those in need with a heart of Jesus
Children's Ministry (CM)
The CM of DKPC are children grades 1st through 6th. The pastor is Joe Chung and he is supported by a staff of five who are committed to the Lord and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The weekly Sabbath worship services are centered around the Scriptures; singing songs that exalt God; confessing the Apostle’s Creed; communion with the Lord in prayer; and Christ-centered teaching. The Bible Study period is a time of engagement based on the Bible.
"Catechism Club" on Friday evenings (7:30 pm) consist of studying Shorter Catechism and the catechism of the Korean American Presbyterian Church (our denomination). In addition, the children enjoy games and fun snacks.
